Designed from real moments.

HelpBadge was inspired by my own son and the moments when communication becomes difficult, delayed or overwhelming. I saw how important it is to have a simple, immediate way to show a need — without pressure to speak.

Every screen, colour and symbol was designed to be understood instantly. No guessing. No explaining. Just a clear signal when it matters most.

The story

Why this project exists

This project didn’t start in a lab or on paper. It started in everyday life.

Inspired by real life

It was inspired by my son, Xavier, and the situations we face on a daily basis — moments when communication is not obvious, when more patience, understanding and sometimes a fast reaction from others is needed.

A bigger need

Over time, I realised this is not just one family’s story. Many children and adults face similar situations.

Simple idea

The goal became clear: create something visible, immediate and easy to understand — even for a stranger.

This is not a project “because we can”. This is something that simply should exist.
